Schickerling is a family-owned boutique real estate agency that specialises in heritage and premium property listings in Melbourne’s northern suburbs. They approached WebOracle in 2022 seeking our website development and design services but also our branding expertise to develop a strategy and collateral that captured their vision.
Schickerling understood real estate is a rapidly evolving industry; the UI & UX of their new website needed to reflect their penchant for innovation but also integrate market-leading digital platforms that ensured potential buyers and tenants’ information would remain secure, so WordPress was a natural choice for the CMS.
As heritage property specialists, the new website needed to position Schickerling as polished, powerful and exclusive. High-definition images showing the exquisite details of their unique property listings had pride of place on the home page. We selected a warm-toned pink aesthetic to evoke a sense of comfort and make it clear that Schickerling was in the business of selling homes, not houses. The new logo design incorporated a gold elegant typeface as a nod to the Victorian-era properties in Melbourne’s heritage real estate listings.
